Rde\u010da pesa zaradi visoke vsebnosti hranilnih snovi, posebej antioksidativnih pigmentov betalainov, pomaga ohranjati vitalnost srca in o\u017eilja. Poleg korenine lahko uporabljamo tudi zelene dele rastline, ki jih serviramo sve\u017ee ali kuhane in vsebuje veliko vitamina A.<\/p>\n<h2>Kdaj in kako sejemo rde\u010do peso<\/h2>\n<p>Rde\u010da pesa je precej odporna na mraz in jo lahko posadimo na gredo tudi do mesec dni pred zadnjo slano. \u010ceprav pese dobro rastejo ob vi\u0161jih temperaturah, se kalice la\u017eje zakoreninjajo ob nekoliko hladnej\u0161em vremenu. Posadite rde\u010do peso ve\u010dkrat v 3-4 tedenskih razmikih (do sredine poletja) in si tako zagotovite sve\u017e pridelek preko cele sezone.<\/p>\n<p>Semena rde\u010de pese so v resnici skupki semen v posu\u0161enem plodu, kar pomeni, da se lahko iz enega samega &#8220;semena&#8221; razvije ve\u010d rastlin. Med rastlinicami pustite pribli\u017eno 3-4 cm prostora, kasneje pa jih razred\u010dite tako, da bo med njimi vsaj 5 cm prostora.<\/p>\n<p>Ne pozabite preveriti tudi dobre in slabe <a title=\"Dobri in slabi sosedi rde\u010de pese\" href=\"http:\/\/www.okusnivrt.com\/novice\/dobri-slabi-sosedje\/\">sosede rde\u010de pese<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Pobiranje<\/h2>\n<p>Rde\u010do peso lahko poberemo, ko dose\u017ee za\u017eeljeno velikost. V pribli\u017eno 60 dneh bodo dosegle pribli\u017eno 4 cm premera in so \u017ee primerne za kuhanje ali vlaganje celih korenov. \u010ce ji zagotovimo dovolj prostora in vlage pa lahko pesa zraste do 8 cm premera. Ob kuhanju moramo biti pozorni, saj se betalaini (koristna rde\u010da barvila) na previsokih temperaturah razgradijo. Rde\u010do peso je tako priporo\u010dljivo kuhati najve\u010d 15 minut, pri \u010demer uporabite paro in \u010dim ni\u017ejo temperaturo. Za ve\u010djo ohranitev betalainov kuhajte rde\u010do peso z olupkom in jo olupite \u0161ele po kuhanju. Betalaini izbolj\u0161ujejo splo\u0161no po\u010dutje, delujejo spro\u0161\u010dujo\u010de na organizem in izbolj\u0161ujejo razpolo\u017eenje, zaradi \u010desar bi jih bilo \u0161koda izgubiti.  <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"recept\">Na\u0161 predlog: Solata iz rde\u010de pese in jabolk<\/h2>\n<p>Za 1 osebo potrebujete:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 rde\u010do peso<\/li>\n<li>1 jabolk<\/li>\n<li>1 jedilno \u017elico feta sira<\/li>\n<li>son\u010dni\u010dna ali konopljina semena<\/li>\n<li>olj\u010dno olje<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Priprava je zelo enostavna, saj gre za solato. Rde\u010do peso in jabolko nare\u017eite na dolge pal\u010dke. Nekoliko jih preme\u0161ajte, nato pa nanje posujte nadrobljen feta sir in semena ter za\u010dinite z olj\u010dnim oljem. Solata vsebuje kar 30% dnevnih vlaknin in folne kisline. Folna kislina ugodno vpliva na tvorbo rde\u010dih krvnih celic, obnovo krvi ter odpravljanje slabokrvnosti. Zni\u017euje raven hemocisteina, ki je povezan s tveganjem bolezni srca in o\u017eilja.
